What was your first chocolate memory?
Maybe it was a chocolate easter bunny, some chocolate sprinkles on toast, or even a chocolate letter for Christmas.
Ours just so happens to be chocolate hazelnut spread (aka Nutella) on toast. This was a breakfast staple. Maybe there would be an adventurous addition, such as a slathering of peanut butter, or during the most indulgent of moods, topped with fluff, which is basically spreadable marshmallow!
Since childhood, our understanding of quality has improved and that led us to recreate this delicious spread.
Our chocolate hazelnut spread is made with fresh roasted hazelnuts, cacao, organic cane sugar, and coconut oil. Nothing more, nothing less. Our aim was to recreate the flavour we loved so much without having to add so many darn ingredients.
A FEW SUGGESTIONS:
For best results, leave the jar at room temperature.
If left it in the fridge, warm it slightly for a buttery soft spread
Warm further for a drizzle.
Tastes delightful with fresh fruit, sourdough, or on a spoon!
